Re: 206 front strut replacement
Unless for some reason you want to remove the whole strut, you only have to undo the pinch bolt at the bottom of the shock absorber part, the drop link & brake hose clamp and the bolts at the top of turret. Then it will come out. If you want to remove it completely you will need to undo driveshaft and track rod end and the pinchbolt at the bottom of the strut.

Do I have to remove the hub ? On another site it seems you only have. To remove the bottom track control ball joint and not the hub

Re: 206 front strut replacement
As I said, it depends on whether you want to remove the entire strut or just the shock & spring. You haven't said which.
Cheers Col.

Re: 206 front strut replacement
Jack up both sides so both front wheels are off the ground, then lever the lower arm down with a long crowbar or similar. I do it like that all the time.
Cheers Col.

Re: 206 front strut replacement
This is the 206CC forum so yes. All 206s are the same. Try leaving both top nuts loose so the strut moves too. Just use them to stop it dropping out. Tighten them once the clamp has been refitted.
Splitting the lower ball joint can be a pain so you want to try and avoid that ... You'll find out when you need to change a lower arm ... Btw the CC uses the GTi lower arm with stronger mounting bushes.
