Re: Back Axle
This happend to me and I has to replace the rear axle. But I also had to replace the hub bearing and abs sensors. As when we came to remove them they stuck in place
I bought my recon axle from IM axles. Cost was £240 inc delivery but they do what your old one returned to them and they will collect free of charge. Doesn't matter what condition te axle is there is no charge
They do advertise on eBay. But I went to their website and rang them direct. So they could confirm if they had my axle in stock.
Delivery was within 24 hours. It took my mechanic 1 and 1/2 days tondo the job as we had to wait for the bearings and abs sensors to arrive.
Once it's replaced the axle should outlive the car.
IM axles number is 01949 869600
And website is http://www.imaxle.co.uk
They have had loads if good reviews
Hope this helps
