1. When I unlatched the roof latches, I got the usual 'bong' sound.
2. I pulled the roof switch up, the windows are rolled down as usual.
3. The bootlid then unlocked and raised BUT here's the problem, it can never go up. It moves up a little and then it sounds like some sort of power cut from the hydraulic pump, then the bootlid falls down again. Then it starts beeping. When I pulled up the switch again, same thing happened. As if it's struggling to lift.
4. I used my hands and 'helped' the lid by lifting it up till the end, i heard a click sound.
5. When I got back into the car and pulled the switch again, everything works normally. The roof opens, the bootlid closes and locks, ending with a 'bong' sound.
Then i tried closing the roof.
1. I press on the switch, the bootlid unlocks and lifts up. BUT till to almost of its end, it happened again.
2. Same thing, I pushed the bootlid up till i hear a clicking sound, got into the car n continue pressing the switch.
3. The roof works normally again, the top roof went up, the bootlid closes and locks. Ended with a 'bong' sound.
The funny part is when i tried opening the roof, the bootlid takes a few stops to only reach almost its full opened position. But when i close the roof, the bootlid only stops when it almost reached its full opened position. I did this few times and its always the same. Pump fluid level is ok, all microswitches are clicking. I am really scratching my head now. Any ideas?
