My drivers window seems to come too high. When closing the door on getting out, you need to close the door by pushing the window and it tucks the window under. However, when gtting in the car, it pushes the window out a little bit and creates a gap.
We have been getting round this by taking the window down fractionally. However, when you have the roof down, you have to start fiddling again. Also it was OK in the dry summer, but it does let water in when it rains, as I have recently discovered, because it doesn't seal. I have done a search and it seems it was a known problem and people got it fixed under warrenty, but so far I can't find a solution to do yourself.
Any ideas?
Thanks.

Re: Drivers Window Too High
Sounds like the window guide track needs adjusting to *cant* the glass inwards at the top. You need to remove the inside door panel and polythene vapour barrier and you will see the bolts that hold the track in place. You will also see the bolts are in slots so that you can loosen them to move the track inwards or outwards then tighten to hold the guide in the desired position.
Cheers Col.
