Surprise, surprise another roof problem!

Before I start I just want to say Hi and also i have used the search button. Seen a few threads similar to what I'm going to ask BUT mine is slightly different. recently got a 206 06 cc. Roof doesnt work and I get a constantly beeping just like when u use the roof button to open/close. It makes this sound as soon as u go over 5mph. I took out the SHUNT fuse and it stops but so does all the indicators and windows etc. Took out Fuse no.4 and the car wouldnt start. I'm not bothered about the roof working, just want to stop the constant beeping on my 1hr drive what I do daily.

Any suggestions please?

Someones just posted the exact same thing. I dont have a manual with the car but is the roof ECU in the boot?

Am I right in saying, disconnect battery, pull yellow plug, then reconnect the battery....... Job Done?
