New CC owner.. windows and roof dont work?

Post by miss_wings »

Hi everyone..
Im a new CC owner!! and New to this site!!
I have just bought a 206cc, 1.6ltr, HDi Diesel, grey 2006. I bought her at auction thinking yes yes yes until she was on the run up to her minute of fame and the driver couldnt get the roof or windows down
Now in the middle is the electric buttons for wing-mirrors (working fine) window buttons (dont open or close) and then the button for the roof (also not responding or lowering windows at this point either) the car didnt come with an owners manual so also if anyone could help me with that id be grateful too... My dads looked online and thinks its the module?? (this means nothing to me- i am female and not very car orientated i just know what i like  )

Can anyone help me please??? I live in Kent so if anyone is local to me and willing to have a look or you can recommend someone i would really appreciate that too. Hope i have given enough info about the car.

Thanks Charlie :santa:

Owners manual here:

You soon found out why it was being auctioned. There are plenty of posts on the roof operation on here. I always make sure the engine is running when I operate mine. That way the battery never gets flattened.

Welcome to the forum.

Check the window fuses. May be as simple as that.
