Re: roof microswitches
Start by checking switch "G".
Can you hear the motor running after the boot has opened?
Let us know what you find.
Cheers Col.

Re: roof microswitches
if boot jump up and down, to my experience, let's try to have a manual close the roof then operate a cycle of automatic open and close again. see will the problem still exist.

Re: roof microswitches
Hi, I am also having a similar problem. Just bought pug and rood working find then nothing. I researched on here and thought that it is either the boot microswitches or the switches on the roof clips as no beep when I unclip them. I bought the car to main dealer and they did a check and luckily I told them my suspicions as investigation is £105 per hour. I was charged £50 as they checked what I said first.
Switch A is faulty (passenger side roof clip microswitch) and it will cost me £170 for them to fix. I have tried to lower roof manually but too scared I will get it wrong. I have trawled through you tube and repair guides but just dont feel confident to do this. I dont want to splash out all that cash if it is a simple to fix problem. Does any one live in Maidstone that can help. I am also after the replacement switch but this is going to cost £83 (part number 848495)

Re: roof microswitches
If the micro switch is faulty, putting the roof down manually won't fix it. Fit a new switch.
