Stereo Memory help please

Hi all,ive read through the board ect and realise there are a few problems fitting another stereo with regards to memory,however,ive managed to get a another stereo to store the memory whilst sitting in the car,ie,i rigged it all up,turned ignition off,came back,turned key(not start car)and all is fine,untill,I start the car,it then loses all memory any ideas?? TIA fro any help

I've just installed a JVC radio and can't get the settings to save, would be interested to hear how this can be resolved also.

swap the yellow and red wires over on the ISO connector

Yep Shadow is right, took me ages working this out...
