I was driving the other day doing around 40 and my car started repetitive bleeping at me with the Engine Management Light on. I noticed tthat the wheels were vibrating and I couldnt get any speed up.
I drove around another 7 miles at around 40 miles per hour down the motorway till I got to work when one of the guys came out to take a look at it.
Believe it or not, the Engine Management Light was off and no vibration from the wheels. I drove it home that night down the motorway doing 70 with no issues and a few local run outs since then.
I cannot help but be a little nervous though as it was worrying.
Does anyone have any ideas what it could have been?
Thanks

Re: Engine Management Light on then off
Engine light will come on for numerous reasons, and sometimes you will get something like "antipollution fault" displayed in the centre binnacle. It may be something got wet with all the rain and has since dried out. A good code reader will be able to pull out the fault code if you are worried.
Because the light is now out, whatever caused it has now gone and it may never happen again. If it does then treat it as a fault developing and get it checked.
