I had a broken nearside front spring the other week and a mechanical friend replaced the spring for me but since then there has been a knocking noise coming from the front nearside suspension everytime I go over a bump! My husband has checked the shock absorber and thats fine and he cannot see anything obvious wrong. He was wondering if the Top Strutt Mount had been put on correctly as he said with Fords there is only oneway the mount should go else that causes knocking noises, apparently there are lines on the mount to line up!
Has anybody got any ideas on the subject?
