Just about to buy 206cc but roof has problem help needed
Hi everyone we're just about to buy 206cc but the seller has informed me that the roof is very slow closing about a minute in fact. Also it is juddery, but is not to bad opening. Before I consider this car is there anyone that could possibly shed some light or give me any advice? I am viewing the car today at 3pm. Apologies for the brief description but that is all I know. Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the hyrdrolics don't have enough strength it could be a simple refill of fluid or it could be another pump that's needed you can open the panel from the boot by unclipping the popping clips and see if there's any hydrolic fluid in the pump also it could be that the switch to turn the pump has turned off which can be adjusted by the allen key in the puncture box in the boot the allen key goes into the white bit which is visible in the boot

You are brave. There are plenty about, I'd buy one that works properly.

A minute isn't slow??? I would get them to perform the roof operation a few times, if you're not happy, walk away.
