Hi All,
Further to the air bag light fault last October 2010 - thanks to all on here advising a new battery - this was fixed. Now after winter is almost over i wanted to start using my topless ! But when i unlock the roof catches all i get is a high pitched beeping...the bongs happen once the roof catches are released but nothing else, I had a minor bump in a car part last November also, someone scuffed the driver's side rear bumper which is all sorted now, the bodywork has been mended, however, could this have affected the roof not working ? Help, I miss my topless car ! You have been invaluable on this forum and I am terrified of taking my little pug back to the awful Peugeot dealer that ripped me off last year. Thanks in advance.

Re: Beeping Roof !
I would suspect that a microswitch is not functioning correctly.

Re: Beeping Roof !
Thanks for that Grandad - but I 'cured' my roof problem by checking the pull out screen in the boot - believe it or not the screen just wasn't 'sitting' right in its holders...and so the LH side catch was not connecting with the roof sensor...you can actually hear it connect with it as it makes a very subtle click....good luck.

That is why the microswitch was not functioning correctly. The end of the screen wasn't located on it properly. Glad it is sorted now.Puglet wrote:Thanks for that Grandad - but I 'cured' my roof problem by checking the pull out screen in the boot - believe it or not the screen just wasn't 'sitting' right in its holders...and so the LH side catch was not connecting with the roof sensor...you can actually hear it connect with it as it makes a very subtle click....good luck.
