Beeping when roof is up or down

Hi, new to this...

My problem is with the roof mechanism. If I put the roof down, the windows do not go down. If i put them down first then the roof, i cannot put the windows up until the roof is up. There is also a constant beeping, that only stops when the roof is up and the car is stationary. The demister on the back window also does not work. How do I fix this problem.

have to up the tunes up so i can't hear the beeping getting some funny look though lol

Hi Pat and welcome to the forum!

As far as your problem goes.... I know that if the roof latches are unclipped and the roof is up, the windows will not work if you try to put them up or down using the window buttons, and the car will beep at you if you exceed 10km/hr, so it sounds much like your car has a problem with the sensors - it seems as though the car doesnt know the roof is in the boot, but it knows the latches are undone and therefore beeps. Also explains why the windows don't work when the roof is down. When you say "If I put the roof down, the windows do not go down.", do you mean after you have unclipped the roof and pull the button? If yes, that still sounds like a problem with the sensors that detect if the latches are undone

As for the rear demister not working, wiring problem?
