Hi all, hope this is the correct forum:
Just replaced a 2002 cc drivers side wing mirror on the missus motor, however the cover is in electric blue and her car is silver.
I have the silver cover from the previous mirror, was just wondering if it was possible to just change the covers over and if it was easy to do without breaking anything.
Basically don't want to go to the hassle of spraying the blue one to silver but by the same token I don't want to break the new cover and be stuck having to find a way to attach it back on.
Surely with the amount of 206 cc mirrors that get broke and replaced someone has tried this before?
Thanks

Yes its easy. I did it when replacing mine.
The coloured cover is held in place by small clips (you can see them on your silver cover) that can be gently levered out with a flat blade screwdriver. They are easily breakable so do it very gently.
Then just fit one side on to the other wing mirror and gently push the other end in place.

Re: Wing mirror caps
Do you still have the blue cover as someone has stolen mine, if so how much do you want for it
