Does 2004 Radio/CD has a code

Hi Guys,

I need to repair the CD for my 2004,the car is second hand so I'm not sure if the code card is not there or if does not have a code...no CD changer...and the Radio has no display screen.

thanks GrandadMonkey..you mean that 2004 model and above Radio does not have a code read in the pdf manual that there is a code you have to enter when you disconnect the Radio..is that for pre-2004 models ?

I should have thought that as a 2004 car yours would be multiplexed and therefore would not need a code. Take a look at the original receipt for your car, and/or your owners handbook. If there was a code you'll probably find it written in there. Ours is a 2005 model, is multiplexed, and therefore doesn't need a code. I speak for UK spec cars. Your registration plate (avatar) doesn't seem to be UK so I cannot be sure about the spec of your car.

Search "radio code" on the forum search facility and you'll find a fair bit of comment.
