Hello,

from newbie ; -)

I am having problem with my roof, i cannot take it down, i thing that there is problem with microswitch for roller ourtain.

What do you think is there any sensor located in these microswitch, which send data to the computer? Or can i just cut the these 2 cables before microswitch and stick it together? i hope that then it will act like the roller ourtain is closed. What do you think ?

Cheers from new owner of 206cc

I'd buy a new microswitch rather than bodge it.

I have the same problem with the microswitch in the boot for the roller... the spring latch appears to be missing... i had visions of sticking the pin down... do you think this will affect the ECU or will it automaticaly sence the roller is always their and be fine with it?
p.s. if you do buy a microswitch could u post the cost on hear. part only..

Thanks

so solve the issue ; -)) ... i dont know how, but now it is working fine ; -) so we will see, i already ask in peugeot dealer for new microswitch, so it cost about 20EURO, it is not so much, so therefor i think that it just mechanicali stick 2 cables together, so if you stick the pin you can not do anything wrong in my opinium

until you have a boot full of shopping and you jam the roof into it cause it thinks the blinds pulled. ;(
