Hi Everyone

I'm currently checking a second hand cc out to buy but it has the lexus rear lights and they're not for me really so am just wondering how hard it is to change them and also if anyone knows roughly how much they would cost?

I'm female by the way so easy on the technical talk......

Thanks

Best bet is to try and ebay and plenty owners sold their old lights after getting lexus lights.

If you are lucky enough to find any then £10 is feasible to pay.

To change is easy, they are held in by a bolt with a wing nut - 5 minute job.

Good choice. I used to have the Lexus rears but put back the originals as whenever I saw them on another car I thought "cheap chav mod" :sorry:

You may also have to swap the bulbs over, its fairly simple. Just look at where the bulbs where taken out and place them back in the same compartments. Any probs then we can go into more detail ;)

Also, the normal 206 rear lights are slightly different to 206cc ones even though they look identical. Make sure you get 206cc rears.

Can the standard lights be cut to fit the CC like you could with the Lexus ones Dan ?

Yeah I had to cut mine, about half an inch off the inside protective housing so it can slide into place. But it wasn't a perfect fit afterwards :/

Well done. You'll probably get your money back by eBaying the Lexus lights.
