Just took 206cc 2001 to garage because when i go over rough ground the streering feels loose when going left or right and he said its was the track rod end i think anyway he went to change it and its not that its the streeing rack so he showed me with the gater off and you cound see a lot of movement inside .
The thing is he said it would cost me 1050 euros about £700 thats for the peugeot part and fitting, does that sound right price ? and would a streering rack break on a 2001 model with about 70 to 80 thousand miles (not sure the exact miles as its in kilometres) so soon and can you get recon streering rack and how much about ?
