do rear lights from 206 fit 206 cc?

Today someone smashed my rear light on my cc (while being parked). As a typical driver from Amsterdam he did not leave any message or notification on my car, so I must pay for the damage.

Does anyone know if the lights from the 206 fit on my cc? If so, which series? I own a 2002 model 1.6CC. Thanks.

The lights on the 206 will fit a 206cc but after some modification. The inner plastic housing that contains the bulbs needs to be cut short by around half an inch to get them to fit, and even then they arent perfect. (I've tried this)

I already bought a pair of 206 lights (10 quid for the pair) and I need to exchange one light.

So it can be done with a little cutting? Or are you saying it's a no go?
