Hi all, not sure if this is the best part to put this in but here goes any way!

Driving back from Bournemouth on Friday, i got stuck in the biggest car park in the world - m25 - for about an hour, all was well until i started moving again. The temperature started to rise and then the red STOP light started flashing and beeping at me. So i stopped, and the temperature continued to rise, in the end i drove home with the heating on full blast, which kept it down.

The fan is cutting in and i have checked the water levels which are fine, dont really want to spend loads of money in my local garage....

Any one else had similar problems that they have fixed??

Thanks in advance

Helen

hi
it could be the thermostat that has stuck shut and that causes the water to be trapped or it could be the water pump not pumping the water round what ever it is you need to take it to the garage fast because you could blow your engine .
