Makes perfect sense to me.

Oh, and by the way I don't think I've ever deleted or edited anyone else's post yet. If I did, I'd PM the person concerned.

Pleased to know. I would suggest that it was clear to everyone where a post had been deleted or edit.

well, not that i'm suggesting it was you Alex, but i had a picture deleted from the Monkey Forum the other day that Lyndon and Julia said they didn't edit. So i was going to get round to asking if it was you as you're the other Moderator in that particular area, but i guess you've just answered my question... ;)

Best for whom.

Withholding details to protect the innocent may on occations be a good idea but it should always be clear where something has been edited

I agree that there should be a clear indication that a post has been edited or removed - i had a post deleted once, still cant work out why. I even challenged the offending moderator to own up and explain but they never did  :redhot:

As for the other rules - we all know them, we all know they are the rules, and if anyone doesnt like them then no-one is forcing you to come here. However, i do have the following observations:

Rule 1 - Some of us are mildly abusive to others in a light hearted way, dependant on how we think that person will take such comments. Someone said this was the point of the flaming forum, but i'd like to point out that the flaming forum no longer exists!

Rules 1a, 1b and 2 - No problem :D

Rule 3 - Surely it's OK if in the 'for sale' section? Should this not be a case of "No selling of non CC related items"? or perhaps nothing illegal or likely to offend?

Rule 4 - Not convinced that many kids would come on here *(even if they did then they would probably swear more than us anyway)! However, people on here are all different ages and both sexes, so i agree that it should all be clean so as not to offend anyone

Rule 5 - I agree

Rule 6 - Maybe just a note to keep all arseing about to the monkey forum? Forum/chatroom is a very grey area anyway, and i personally wouldn't have agreed to go karting next week if it wasnt for the general chat and banter i have had with some of the forum members. If this forum was only for Q & A then I think a lot of people would stop coming, and one of those people might be the only one who could have answered a certain question!

Rambling over  :D

Just chat in the "flaming forum" and keep on posting in the discussion and the other sections.. it makes the forum alive...
Im a bit angry on the poorly hidden adverts for the other forum. I have loged in to this forum to see how it is... and seriously... its nothing more then a chit chat forum....
Sorry that my english is so poor that I cant join more, but I am reading and find this forum exelent. A big thanks to Lyndon and his companions.
