Vanda, get your dealer to do it, it will be so much easier!!!!!

I bought my plate over the phone (easy peasy) but to transfer it to my CC is another matter! You either do it by post but then they warn you that it's illegal to drive around in a misregistered car (so when do I know that it's been done???) or go to a vehicle licensing office - and my local one is only open Monday-Friday

So I'm gonna take a half day's hols and sort it out - got my plates my up, just need to assign it

Just try to make sure that the plate you want has been released. I have been on the waiting list for my plate for over a year - it has never been released so i have to wait for it to come up at auction!

i found one that is perfect, but as i said, i will have to wait

i might get a 206 cc one (like the one that someone tried to sell on here for abaout a grand (LMAO) but a lot cheaper - found a place selling plates that has about 5 different 206cc plates available at about Â£300 each
