My computer crashed and I lost several hours worth of work because of it! :x
Feel sorry for ya mvoong - i am glad i havnt been checking this at work lately coz i wouldnt have been impressed. Our server doesnt take kindly to virus alerts, and we quite often have to shut down 30 people for an hour or so. 30 people who should be charging from £20 to £100 plus VAT per hour.........

Yep its difficult to draw a line over this stupidity until Stephen apologises for the mess he caused to some forum members computers especially to poor Mvoong who innocently clicked on the link.

At the moment Stephen seems quite unrepentant of the virus danger and even appears to be "lmao" as he puts it for the loss of work to Mvoong and the mess he's caused to some forum members computers and that in my eyes makes him a right pratt.

He should be man enough to make an open apology!

The problem is stephen, that if we had all suffered as much as mvoong, then my firm would have lost at least £100 due to my own down time, and if our server had similar virus warnings then we could have lost anything from £2500 upwards, based on us all loosing a couple of hours work. This wouldnt bother me too much as long as they didnt find out that it was me surfing the net that had caused it, but that is not the point.

i know they crash anyway - mines is an expert at it for some reason and if that had happened then it really would be tough luck as you should back up as you say but losing work because of a dodgy link is completely different.
