Jo, Sorry to drag you back to your Beeping! I have had a similar problem, also unresolved. However, a possibility is that I have been trying to lock the roof clamps when the roof has come over, rather than waiting for the 'Ding' (the one that sounds like the airoplane 'Please fasten your seatbelts' signal). I think it was a symptom of playing my stereo too loud - last couple of occassions I have muted my stereo to listen for the 'Ding', before clamping the roof. Not sure though!

Thanks for your reply, I do sometimes have the problem with being impatient and trying to shut the roof clasps b4 the roof is fully closed however the beeps come when I driving along. I get 3 little beeps but no warning lights or nothing. I haven't had it for a while luckily.

I was baffled for a while as I got them when the roof was down but I found that this was the black thing in the roof coming undone whilst the roof was down. This was due to me putting shopping in the boot which made the black thing lift up!

PS - 29 is still a little baby

Give me a 35 year old at least anyday...........Grrrrrrrrrrrr
