Also is there a part no. Or anything on gearboxes to see if they are the same ones. Most I see for sale don't mention what year car the box came off of.

Yes it's an etched number. Will be something like 20CE32. The gearboxes were also used in Peugeot 306/307 Citroen Xsara/c4 and other models. You need to get the right code or you could end up with diesel van ratios.
