Ever seen under the bonnet of a Fiat Coupe 20V ??? The 206 has acres of room in comparison. That engine does have to come out!
The 206 isn't that bad ... I found the worse job was putting the cam belt cover screws back ... most if which were missing anyway so that had been off at some time in the past.
I timed it using simple bolts too.

Never have done a cam belt with the engine the wrong way round.

Just had mine done local garage, guy said no problems straight forward 1.9 hours charged.
Total cost £210. using a Gates belt/kit.

By today's standards, these cambelts are easy. With the engine mounting removed, there is plenty room.
