Got reply from him saying will send refund and grill will get here, oh I'm crossing my fingers again, and this is my reply to him: "I truly want to believe the things you said or supposed to have done, but until I get the refund and grill you are still what I think you are."

Yes Gtb5 I think we're all with you on this one, maybe not at the beginning but certainly now we know the true score, and thats what counts.

PS. I think you might just have the longest thread on Simon's forum as well.

PPS. I know why Simon hasn't deleted your posts on his forum. Its not because he's trying to claim the moral high ground (now there's a laugh) saying he has nothing to hide. Its really cos he knows you'll only keep on posting no matter what, an he'd only be wasting his time.

Thanks Bergen & Robbie and all the others who have given me support, this thing should've ended a few months ago...I'll head for local consumers council if I have time next week.

Sadly Gtb5, I really don't think there's much legally you can do for such a sum of money when your half way round the world.

But, I think you've got a chance the way your dealing with him. We'll all keep up the pressure.

well I can verify that's it's the right address for you. And Simon is based in swindon. maybe they've passed it on to him.

funny thing is that I don't see his silver 206 flying around the town anymore. perhaps he's in hiding ?

He might think I'll take a short trip and take something away from his car, something that I should've gotten 3 months ago, so he doesn't keep it out in the open. Or just got enough payment with my money for a new shiny 360 spyder :D

That's good news Jimmy...I'd like to think Swindon Council will take a visit to Simon and ask him what the score is. Hopefully you'll see some movement on this finally. Good luck! ;)

Yes, good luck. I bet he thought he was more likely to get away with ripping you off than UK customers. I hope it works out for you.

Hey people hopefully this thing may finally come to an end, got a reply from Simon with a scan including an envelop and bank draft written out, 10 pounds extra too for my trouble I guess, as soon as I receive this draft and it's cleared I'll post here, but I think bank draft must be cleared cos the bank withdraws the fund when the draft is issued, or is it??

Now I'm not so sure if he'll send the draft.

I can't believe how this is dragging on. Even if he does send the money I doubt anyone here will feel all too comfortable dealing with him. I wish Simon would speak up and give his side of things -the silence is most frustrating.
Cheers
