Have any of you smoothed the boot top to take away the spamspam sink draining board effect?
If yes, do you have any pics?

Im thinking of doing the same thing to mine aswell, not keen on the ridgey things on the boot. The only pics Ive been able to find are on Ecosse.

That just looks like it get rid of the handles on each side if you look at pic 2 it's just a blanking plate to cover where the handle were.
The ridgey things on the top still look like they are there.
I want to get rid of both.
Bodyshop job by the looks of it if nowhere sell a flat boot lid.
I can see the ridges getting ground off and some flat sheet metal welded into the gaps and fillered into match the rest of the boot height.
Would there be anothe way?

Just enter the link 206cc hdi platinum 142 follow the link given within the german text, saying "(zu den Kofferraumdeckel Bilder)". looks like a lot of work, if you want this done properly.
