dunn oif any of you have seen this but i thought it was pretty interesting , got quentin wilson and the editor of evo trying to do a lap of millbrook on a liter of fuel i think, some cool facts, like if you think coasting will save you fuel , your wrong, as its better to leave the car in gear as the injectors are not spraying fuel into the engine ready for more gas..

Yes, most modern cars will shut down the fuel pump on overrun, whereas if you knock it into neutral it requires fuel to keep it idling.
But in order to be really economical you need to speed up on the down slopes and slow down on the up slopes, and I hate people that do that.
