We have just got a 206 cc 1.6 S.

This has (factory fit?) metal pedals, in particular the clutch. My wife (who's car it is) finds the clutch pedal too slippery.

Can it be changed for rubber (perhaps a normal 206 clutch pedal?)

yeah I had the same problem especially when your feet are wet.

Bought a replacement set off Ebay for 20quid. you can use rubbers but they might need drilling.
Peugeot charge 40quid for a replacement clutch + brake pedal and 80quid for accelerator, they also dont supply the rubber replacements as spares. really useless and a rip off. ive made rubber replacements out of an old car mat, using the metal pedals as a template - does the job! plus cos the rubbers thicker than the originals they've got more grip than the orignals.

think you can buy pedals to replace them but was told by a mate to watch the size of the accelerator pedal as some can be to big?

Thanks

I should have mentioned I solved the problem - I bought "Skateboard Grip Tape" - the grey top coating on skateboards - and stuck it to the pedals. Problem solved for less than £6
