Today I tried to clean my windscreen with the washer/wipers (as you do) but when I pulled back the stalk nothing came out but the wipers worked. Having just filled the resevoir on Sunday and not used it since I knew that I wasn't out of screenwash. My next thought was that the little holes were blocked so I tried giving them a poke with a pin. Still nothing. Ive checked there isnt any leak or hole in the bottle. I even got someone to check the fuse hadnt gone.
Has anyone else ever had this problem or know what it could be? The car is 54 reg, 1.6 engine and the extended warranty runs out August. Would this be covered?
I cant get it to Peugeot dealer until the weekend, but I will be wary being a young female driver and don't want to be conned. Any help or advce other than to get it to a dealer would be most appreciated. :(

When you pull back on the stalk with the ignition on you should hear the washer motor whirring. If you can't hear it from inside the car get someone to listen under the bonnet while you do it. If it's not whirring then maybe its a poor connection or a fuse.
More likely though is a build up of the gunge you get when water, (and washer fluid), has stagnated for a while. What I do is syphon all of the fluid out of the washer bottle then direct a good jet of water from the garden hose spray into the washer bottle to clear out all the gunge. It gets to be like a jelly and blocks the hoses into the motor and out again. Give it a good flushing until all the gunge has gone, refill with fresh fluid and you should find everything works OK again.
If the hoses between the motor and the washer jets are gunged up then its a case of disconnecting the hoses from the jets and backflushing (or blowing through) to clear the blockage.
Its not just 206cc's that it happens to, I have to clean out the systems on the Merc and the Corsa every couple of years too.
Best of luck, let us know what transpires.

Thanks Ron, for the reply. I have managed to get the garage to squeeze me in tomorrow to take a look.
When I pull back the stalk the usual "whirring" sound is not there either in the car or from under the bonnet.
Luckily as it is still under Warranty it should cost me anything they said. First thing they said when I rang up - Has it got some screenwash in it? Duh im female but not that daft lol. I let you know what the problem was. Hope it's something simple like you said. Thanks again.

Sorry I never wrote back like I said had computer probs (think I should stick with a typewriter and a bicycle)
It turned out it was an electrical fault behind the dash a "something 2000" they called it cant remember.
It is covered by the warranty but because nobody told me the warranty was still in the previous owners name they said i couldnt have it replaced. After a few calls they backed down and a simple call to peugeot warranty its now in my name.
To top it off they put my steering wheel on cock-eyed. Didnt realise til I was driving down the highway thinking am i pissed or is this car wonky! Anyway its sorted and onto the next prob...wheel locking nuts...see new post :/

COM2000 I guess.
Sounds as if your dealer could do with educating in good customer service. They are not even getting the basics right are they?
Perhaps they don't want you to buy your next car from them.
Sounds as if you are standing up for yourself though - good for you! Don't let them walk all over you Nickii.

I once had a washer jet go wrong, they replaced it without question. Heavily diluting the washer fluid should prevent gunge build up which is what I do. :)
