Peugeot Free insurance promotion - 207 GT, CC and GTi

Word reaches my ears about an upcoming promotion for anyone buying a new Peugeot 207 GT, CC and GTi which will give them a years free insurance from Peugeot insurance.

The offer applies to anyone aged 25-80 for the 207 CC and GTi and provides a years free comprehensive insurance with two named drivers and cover for SDP and business.

I'm not sure exactly when the promotion starts but the information has been issued to dealerships.

It's a policy underwritten by UK Insurance Limited, the layout of the paperwork is familiar to anyone who has been insured by Direct Line, Tesco etc and a quick google suggests they underwrite lots of other companies. It also covers driving of other cars 3rd party by the policyholder.

It probably makes good sense for them to offer this, once they tag you in as long as the renewal is reasonable they will continue to hold your business. I cashed in my policy with Esure so got about Â£300 back. Along with the Â£600 off I negotiated nearly Â£1k off the car

Didn't know it wasn't UK wide, but Arnold Clark have been offering free insurance since the 207CC was launched as well as Â£800 off list price.

All this clearly advertised - haggling is over and above this.
