Does anybody know if it is safe to put a 206cc through a car wash?

yes it should be safe as a few people have used them BUT it would force water onto the seals which could let in water

either use a jetwash (not too much on the seals) or do it by hand should be much safer :)

It is fine, I do it regularly.

Totally agree, I haven't used a car wash for years and never will do again.
