hi,
please can someone help? i bought a 206cc 3wks ago, i noticed the central locking on the passenger door wasnt working so i took the car back to the garage, he told me the central locking motor was on the blink so he'd replace it for me, which he's done, i've come home today to find a few things have changed with the car: 1, now the car beeps at me when i start the car with a pic of the car with the doors closed 2, it doesnt beep at me when i open the doors 3, when i lock the car it beeps as if one of the doors are still open but i've checked and they're all closed. does this sound right to anyone?please.
cars beeping when i lock it. is this normal???

I'm guessing the beep on starting up is the three warning beeps and the beep on locking is a louder, sharper one.
If so it shouldn't be doing this.
Starting the car has no beeps (unless a door is open), and locking the car will have the noise of the locking mechanism only followed by the indicators flashing on for a second and then going out.
Take it back and show them what the problem is yourself. Sounds like it's more than a motor.
