Hi

Ive just noticed that the oil pressure warning light does not work on my 206cc. The light does not illuminate with the engine off and the ignition switched on. My local garage have said it is a bigger job than just replacing a bulb behind the dash board. Can anyone help.

cheers

the oil presure light dosent illumination on the multi plex cars like in the old days.
it will actually only come on when the pressure is low.
they wont be able to fix it cause it aint broken.
if you dont belive me .......test1......ask other forum members here if thres does the same(bets on they do)
test2.....unplug oil pressure sensor and check :thumbs:light(engine running)bet it will come on and a warning message saying low pressure.
be all and ensd all.dont panic its spose to like it. :)

Thanks for that. It was something that my local garage pointed out when they MOT'd the car (not a peugeot dealer.). They werent after any work but just bought it to my attention. Cant say I can recall if it ever came on as I only check that they all go out. Thanks again for the info. I will leave it be.
