Squeaky roof!

Hello everybody,

I'm a brand new member. Bought a 2001 Cayman Green 2.0 cc a few months back.

When the roof is up there is an annoying squeak from the clasps that lock the roof to the windscreen. The wonderfully smooth London roads are a treat!

I've tried a bit of heavy duty grease which helped momentarily but didn't last. Are these clasps adjustable?

I was also thinking of putting some kind of felt pads or rubber on the catches.

Anybody got any ideas?

almost sure someone fully explained how to adjust the catches, have you done a forum search ?
