Hi
Well i didnt check yesterday the post, i took the car in peugeot garage and had to pay £76 to get roof back on
It works fine now as i have tested
The other issue i have is that they put it on the system and done some tests and they say there is an issue with it that could occur anytime and have to pay like£200+ to get it fixed
Is this something i should get sorted or is it something they trying to pull
The other issue is that its an import which we wasnt even told and it only comes with 2 years not 3

no no.
in the boot, right handside at the back.white bung with a allen key in it.
in your trye inflating polastyrine box thingy is a long allen key.
turn allen key anti clockwise fully, this relives the hydrolic pressure and drains into the pump(not your boot)
do it back up.lock your car and leave for 10 mins to sleep(powerlatch)
retry after that, roof 99% of the time will operate normally again.
trick of the trade for you...garantee thats what a dealer will do and charge an hrs labour.thank you very much...

Hiya
My pride and joy is currently at the garage the now where I thought was getting a roof reset as I stupidly turned the ignition whilst the roof was going back up!!!
Anyway was told yesterday by the garage that they have tried everything with all the roof experts and that it needs a new pump costing 1200!!!!!!! I then drove out the garage unimpressed after paying £60 and the car was making a constant bleeping noise whilst driving more than 10mph which means something is wrong with the roof!
When the roof was half stuck this bleeping noise occurred however when I manually put the roof back up there was no longer a bleeping noise. The car is therefore back in the garage as its their fault there now is this noise. I have my fingers crossed that they have come to the wrong conclusion about the pump etc and can now fix the whole problem but I doubt it!
Anyway thought I might try the above - if the garage come back to me saying it needs a new pump - but not sure what you mean by turn the hydraulics anti clockwise so the roof drops manually?! Do you mean actaully manually put the roof back down and then try these steps? Or leave my car as is, turn the hydraulics anti clockwise then fully turn back up, lock and leave for 10mins and hopefully it should work?
Thanks

Hiya
Basically my problem is that the car still thinks that the roof is not connected to the top of the windscreen even though the clasps are in place and I am now getting constant beeping when I drive.
Apparantly the only way to fix this is by the pressure which in my case can't be fixed until I get a new pump.
Taking car for a second opinion so will keep you posted!
