[b]206 SR - Clock Backlight Gone!!![/b]

i own a 206 SR, an X reg. recently the back light of da digital clock has gone and i cant see anything at night. normaly at night when u put the dipped head lights on, all the bits of the interior light up - except the back light.

HOW DO I FIX THIS ???- bearing in mind im new to all this????????????????

did a search on that site - still no good

the plastic couling round the clock pushes away from you towards windscreen and at the same time pull it up.it will pop of very easy.
then undo x2 t20 torx screws that hold clock display to the dash.
identify which bulb isnt working in the back of the clock
turn the bulb holder through 90degrees
change bulb,check,rebuild
very easy.5 min job.

Are you talking about the upper 206cc display unit?ie clock,radio info etc.

The Bulb is a T5 miniature dash bulb 12v 1.2w
sold on ebay for approx £2 delivered (pack of 10)
