I was surprised to get a call from my dealer tonight saying that my new Clio originally due around Friday was delayed and wouldn't arrive at them until towards the end of the 1st week in June.

I said I know, Renault sent me a letter about 2 weeks ago telling me if was due to arrive on 13th June.

Nice of them to phone but as much as I appreciate it, either they were a bit slow in phoning or Renault aren't keeping them updated with the progress of the order.

Kinda funny really but after getting bored of the idea of getting the Clio a week after I ordered it, I'm looking forward to it again :D

Nice little car for the money and I can't see it being anymore unreliable than the MG ZR heap.

Could you build one quicker yourself?

I couldn't.

Hope you like it when you get it, and that it was worth the wait.

Try to enjoy your Bank Holiday without it.

Well as I don't build cars I don't think I could build one quicker.

As for the bank holiday - the Nissan 350Z Roadster will do nicely for that.

No it's due at the dealer on the 13th so I'm guessing it should be ready around the end of next week.

It's the old model I have bought which is still in production.

New model is nice but equivalent spec was £2k more and not worth paying for a run around car. 0% finance deals are now available on the new Clio but not much use as I am only paying £1400 plus my MG ZR so don't need finance.

I personally would choose the old shape over the new one they look more sportier and new shapes cabin looks a bit more plastic than the previous one
