peugeot 206cc speedo info please

Hi all i just got my 206cc and its clocks are in klm i have seen a set of clock in a brakers yard that are in mph just woundering if i buy the will i need to do any thing else or will it just work and be the right mph ?

what year is your CC as newer ones use 'multiplexing wiring' and may be coded to each car

Hi the car is oct 2001 i have chance of a set of clocks it mph and i have put a deposit on them i no with the bikes i have had some work ok with uk clocks on but some you have to buy a inline gizmo to convert or slow it down ?

i have just been told if i put another set of clocks in the 206 and it had a higher milage your main ecu and bci unit would take the higher milage as priority and ovewrite the old so you would be stuck with the new milage ?
thats no good to me as my 206 has only done 8600 klm
