a 3.5 V6 would have been nice.

apart from that better reliability. with exception of bad points then it's a good car.

Sorry-shouldn't that be "wots good about a 206cc?" Had mine from brand new, spent the first 4 months of my 9 month ownership at peugeot dealers, fixing various problems, many re-occuring-the worst being engine pinking. that took 7 visits and a new cylinder head to fix. What a complere piece of sh**te the 206cc was. Never again.

maybe it's because mine's a later model (comparing with the slating post above) but I love mine - it's a 2005 model, is very nice to drive as standard. The engine is nice and pokey, the suspension is firm with no excess bodyroll round corners...and it's a nice looking car with the sport pack extras.

I think the 206cc should have some kind of built in car airbag!
It sense's when your being a pillock and are about to crash into something and launches a giant airbag so you dont damage your car!!

Sorry derek-didnt mean to offend. I just needed to 'out' my anger with Pug dealerships, Pug UK, and Pug Paris for a dreadful product and dreadful service. But thats only my opinion. Im sure many owners are still delighted. Sadly, I wasn't......Moved onto a properly engineered motor car now-Mind you, i dont think the stealerships are any better. nice car though. Take care.

No problem.

The 206CC is a nice car but as mentioned Peugeot and their dealerships suck :)

If I had went ahead and bought a 307CC as I intended a year ago it would have been an import to avoid giving a penny to Pug UK or their dealers.

Luckily I got a Nissan 350ZR instead which has never once been back near a dealership since I got it.

Mine had to go back to the dealership after 3 days with an electrical fault (the lights came on 5 mins after turning the car off and flatten the battery). The dealership was very good, fixed the fault and gave me a courtesy car til it was fixed. I live in France and bought my car over the net when I was living in Oz. Have nothing but praise for all concerend. Car is fine now and no problems after 5 months.
