hi guys,
I am from Sydney and just bought a new black 206cc 2.0L on sunday, going to pick it up next week. Just been reading the posted experiences of the 206cc owners from the guys in uk. I am already regretted buying this car. It does not sound like good car at all.
Just wondering if this is related to earlier 206cc model and have been rectified now.
A complete new subject. I am looking to invest in a car MP3 player, but worry that the new player may no fit to the 206cc cd slot and the steering wheel control may also not going to work. Has anyone out have replaced the stereo system. If so what and does the control in the steering wheel still work . :)

Welcome to the world of CC's

I dont think you will regret your purchase. I have had mine for 3 years now .... and still loving it.

If you are looking at an aftermarket head unit ...... i think that you will find that most will fit nicely into the existing slot. As for the controls on the steering wheel ... yes, you will lose it .... but depending on the type of head unit you install, you may be able to fit an adapter.

Hope to see you at one of our meets.

Enjoy your CC !!!

I am guessing you mean the lexus style tail lights.

There is a shop in Parramatta and Castle Hill called Autojoy that sells them. There is also another shop in the city that sells them too.

Don't worry, most of the problems has been ironed out after the first series of CCs. Considering technically you're buying a MY04, you shouldn't have anything to worry about. I didn't have any major problems with mine after owning it for 2 years.

I put a Pioneer MP3 deck into mine and it's great. True my remote stalk is not connected but the car is not *that* big! You may want to get a Sony or Kenwood deck as I know of adaptors that can reconnect some of the remote/display functions.
