Just been thinking.....yes it does happen every so often!
I have got a TomTom satnav gadget in me car at the moment, the one that runs through the pocket PC with a Bluetooth aerial. But I was thinking of replacing it with the TomTom go?
I recon it might fit in the little recess below the dash, jut over the ashtray? They are pretty small, was thinking I would make it look like it is integrated into the dash....
Just a thought!
Tom Tom Go!

Yeah it does speak....lovely lady's voice
Know what you mean about it being out the way though, can't think of anywhere else to put it that would look like it is integrated?

The TomTom GO is quite a bulky unit. I have both a GO and the PDA version, and would recommend the GO over the PDA every time.
Does the GO work with the athermic windscreen, though, or do you have an external antenna (and if so, where have you put it)?

If you have an athermic screen (as many Pugs do) you'll need a remote antenna
Cheaper and better than the TomTom Go is the Mio 268 (or 269.) This comes with a remote antena so whether you've got a coated screen or not you can stil use it. Great value for money IMO.
Have a look here:
http://www.gps-systems.co.uk/mitac_mio_268.asp (UK mapping only for under £300)
or here: http://www.gps-systems.co.uk/mitac_mio_269.asp (European mapping all preloaded for under £400)
