This may be true, but I got a good discount. There is an offor on at the moment of a sizable reduction on cost, + the widely known about 0 percent APR deal on the pug website. The reduction is only available on
current stock manufactured before 1st April.

I guess its up to the dealer how much of a discount if any they would offor you, but I really dont know how it works. I put my faith totally in my relative who works at a Peugeot dealership :D

Incidently, there is no stock of 2.0 vehicles with all acccesory, the best you will get are folding mirrors (i.e. no visability pack). I know other stuff can be fitted afterwards but i dont know about visi pack?

Give the guy a break!!

I may have said in the past that I am not a massive fan of the 307cc, but thats my own opinion for my current lifestyle. A lot of people are not massive fans of 206cc's, Mazda RX8's OR 350Z's etc.

I personaly get people all the time ribbing me about my car. Saying:

Is'nt it time you got a new car?

Girls car!

Gay car!

Slow car.

Iits my car. I earned the money made the choice and love the car and people know it. Why else would I keep it 4 years and not consider moving on?. If everone can say that about their car purchases then all well and good.

Enjoy your new purchase. By the way what colour are you getting interior and exterior?

Oh yeah had a great drive the other day. Roof down missus by my side and had this Mini cooper try to race me. From a standing start to the fastest I have ever driven my car it was great and the Mini stayed in the rear view mirror all the way. It was kinda close at times not least for a poxy Golf pulling out in front of me, but thats what made it fun. I had the weight dissadvantage as well. Fair play to the mini driver- as I turned off he bibbed stuck his thumb up and shrugged.

Babalon red. Isnt that the special colour that the prototype was painted in?

I like that colour and the mulberry.

My car is a 2.0l

And yes it was a mere cooper and not a cooper S. We have the other weapon of choice to play with the S's.

I hope it didnt sound like a boast that I beat the cooper, It was just an extremely tense race with very little between us from 0-(fast) with all things considered. I.e weight of my car and the my car being 2.0L and the cooper being a 1.6L The cars are quite different, but I think both of us. The cooper driver and myself would have to agree there really was little difference in our cars performance. Perhaps if the Golf didnt get in my way things wouldnt have not been so equal, but then it wouldnt have been half the fun.

I guess I realy like my 206cc and with so much criticism of the 206cc it is nice to have a go with a car that gets all the good press and beat it. Which comes back to the point. There is not really a crap car out there to buy. Each car has its bonuses and failings. But if the car suits your need, enjoyment and price then good luck to you and N-joy.

Sorry I sound like a bit of a boy racer. I guess I just enjoy driving.

Babalon red, is it listed as a special colour, but i dont know about prototype, i think it was used in the advertising when the 180 came out?

I like mulberry too .. ive always wanted a Purple car :D, i decided against it though as it came 2nd in the contender that shows up all scratches and dirt race. First prize goes to black by the way

Its a good story. I'm glad that many of us still enjoy our 206cc's even with its niggly faults. I know I would miss my car if I got rid of it now especially as the summer is coming.

Nothing wrong with enjoying a car and the drive that goes with it.

The only reason I asked the question re the MINI Cooper or s was that I knew an S would whip a CC's ass - I know coz I tried once and was left well behind!

This Thursday is a melancholy day for me. The CC that I have put so much care into and loved every time I drove it will be driven off by its new owner.

They got a good deal, a great car and one that will continue to grab my eye every time I see one on the road.

I remember the long long lead up to get my hands on my 206CC, and how this web-site helped the wait be more tolerable. I got the car, and have to say out of three years of having it, it was 99% enjoyment and 1% frustration. I reckon that's an A+ compared to stories I've heard from friends with other cars!
Cheers
