I agree, but the second light on ecosse is apparently a new style like the LED ones you refer too.

Silvatec's have been around for ages and there are usually some going on ebay..
Set there at the moment - just need some minor adjustment to fit the CC
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll? ... eName=WDVW
A bit of a saving on Ecosse's price there too

You just lop off the rain guard - i'm pretty sure there's a guide on how to do that on here somewhere..
As for pics, not the best but a quick search in the owners gallery produced this

Yeah good idea, sent a email to them to see what they say about light.
Worried a little with as you say having to lop something off but i await reply.
Just spoke to ecosse and they are willing to do a cheaper price on both this light and the LED if i buy in a pack which im more than happy to do.
They are so helpful and reliable that i would rather buy from these with confidence and pay a little more.
They might even give me free delivery if i ask nicely as they have before to users of this forum.
Anyone with PICS of th LED lights now

Your right mate i am.
Vix
See what your saying, im saving around £40, but if i buy them from ecosse in a pack i will save around the same, and i imagine they will throw in free p+p, if lucky.
The only thing that might change my mind is if ebay had these (what ecosse are offering in there pack for a cheaper price.
