I bought a quickshift and want to install it.....(of course)
Having no easy way of getting underneath I wa thinking that it might be possible to reach the gear linkage through the left front wheel arch by uninstalling the inside mud protector pieces....
Anyone know whether this is possible in a 2001 2.0 ?

You need to get under the car to do it...so axle stands will be required...

Quickshift is installed, and yes it is a pain(did it from below)....but I can vouch that it is well worth the effort
This is how the gear change is supposed to feel and I wonder why they do not install it like this at the factory!

which setting did you use? How do you find shifting into 2nd gear?
I agree the QS is the best 206 mod for the price!!

No settings possible, it's not a Griffiths...
Works fine throughout all gears, of course the Pug gearbox is not the smoothest (especially when cold) but warmed up I find the gearchange smoother than before (most of the 'looseness' is gone)
