lol, maybe you need a ride in mine to sway your opinionthink the 206cc i could of made a better job of making one in my back yard.
this is just my opinoin cause i know you all love ypur mototrs![]()
engine and roof reliabilitly are very poor, always a 50/50 chance they aint gonna work
they rattle like mad(especially roof seals)
the interior mirrior gives you a fit when you drive cause they buzz to much
doors and windows never align properly cause the chassis not ridgid enough
always lots of electrical problems cause of rush fitment of multiplexed systems
i could go on.they are not my cup of tea,but for the relitivly cheap price you pay for one, then yes they can be alot of fun
hate it when people compare them to slks or tts
like comparing your caravan to a castle, just silly
not to offend anyonejust my opinion and cause i wrx on them on a daily basis

enjoy your cc

some interesting comments ..... i have a uncle that works in sales at a Pug dealer again so should get a good deal !, I was interested in the 1.6 due to its cost but i agree .. i was concerned about its under power ...
the 206cc in a 1.6 seems ok .... but the 307 is a much heavier car !
I wonder if I can borrow a 307cc for the day to try it out

Well my roof has failed once in all off 2.5 years of having the car. I suffered squeaky brakes but other than that the car has been good to me. I know I'd miss it if I got rid of it though!

my roof has failed 3 times:
1) leaks, fixed with new seals, first time
2) Lost hydrolic oil - garage couldnt sus where it had gone !
3) Roof wouldnt meet ... turned out there was a loose screw in there.
Only other probs really are, squeeky brakes, fixed with new style pads, and ive had the ECU crash a few times whilst travelling along, but they update the software to fix it .. but i dont think its doing much good .... but its only done it 4 times in 2.5 years or so

Ive no idea how much they cost, I had them replaced under warranty at about 9500 miles. I started complaining at 2500 miles, and complained to pug when they said they wouldnt fix them (i.e. clean them after 3 attempts).

I only had roof trouble once when it didn't work for 2 months but that was only because the monkeys at motorway cars bathgate broke it for no reason. If they had kept their paws off it then the roof would have been fine.

Reap,pad part number is
425152-front only
also comes with restrictions-maynot fit 1.4 tu,vented discs, and build date compatable.
they retail at £38-87 +vat
i can get for £28.00 +vat![]()
no modified for the rear
ill see if i can post pics of pads so you can see if you have the same type.
Do these brake pads still need the alteration that you was talking about in another post?
Are they doing anything for the rear brakes?

no they shouldnt, but i do it as course now.stops any doubt.your choice really.
make sure caliper very clean and lots of copper slip on pad ends ,work it in,copper onthe backs of the pad where thet touch the caliper and where the piston touchs, you wont go to far wrong.
like i said you will have to find out from your local dealer if your car is compatible for these pads
and no,no modified pads for the rear, rarly had a prob with the rear brakes on the 206 range
