Just a quick thought, I know the 207cc is still some years away but it is in the pieline and people will soon start to hear about it.

Do you think there will come a time, mayb next year that we should sell our CC's just to get the maximum money for them? I guess when the 207cc comes out the prices of ours will drop?

Unless of yours you just love your 206 and wana keep it?

Just a thought

I thought the 307 was already out, just brought my first 206 the weekend and they had several 307CC's in stock. Ok so we are in Ireland but I would have thought the UK would have them.

i can't see the price dropping that much to be honest so i wouldn't worry.

if anything the prices have already dropped and 2nd hand CC's are struggling to sell unless priced very keenly.

i sold my 206CC in november and if i had sold it private i would have been looking for at least £11k and expected to get it.

as it turned out, i got £9800 for it in a trade-in and they put it up for sale at £11k for 3 weeks. after that they dropped it to £10k and it took another 5 weeks to sell. that was for a 02 plate CC SE which had a number of extras fitted.

for an unmodified example - the dealer that lyndon sold his to took a while to sell his too.

the low price of new import CC's have killed the prices of 2nd hand UK CC's.

Selling mine in September after one more summer. Getting a new 55 plate. Either a Civic R type or Imprezza WRX. Still undecided, although girlfriend likes the idea of 4 wheel drive for winter.

Cars are a waste of money full stop. Even when the 207cc comes out it should be better built, but I wouldn’t put a bet on it being as quick, fast or as much fun to drive as the 206 cc. If I am wrong then I might just consider one. If a car isn’t substantially better than the one you already own then what's the point in changing?

As cars go the cc has held its price far better than expected. This is due to it always being the cheapest way to get in to folding hard top motoring- second hand. I cannot understand why some cc's do not sell. I have two people always hassling me about my car, which is nice. My financial advices is save your money wait for the housing crash and buy yourself a mansion. Let it go up in value get a second mortgage for its new improved value and buy yourself a depreciation busting Ferrari! :D Ahh foresight is a wonderful thing.

Although it was 2006, according to Autocar the 207 is now scheduled for 2007 so you would expect the CC a short time after.

I don't know how accurate this is as I bought the magazine for the first and last time 2 weeks ago. They are still saying the 207 will still be launched at next springs Geneva Motor Show.
