climate control panel

Hi all

Was wondering could someone tell me should my climate controls light up
at night - display is ok but bit of a fumble in the dark when your trying to find the button
to put on the heat!! Doesn't seem to be a fuse as everything else is ok - june 2001 car.

if memory serves me right it's to the lower right of the steering wheel near the keyhole to disable the passenger airbag, i think

Their are two push switches on the speedo and rev counter dials. One is to reset the tripometer the other is to dim or brighten your display's.

hi,

thanks for the advice.

just wondering has a bulb gone being the control panel
as is only the on/off switch, increase/decrease fan button,
recirculation tec. buttons aren't lit. maybe they don't actually
light up !! - can't remember!!

My 2001/51 Has the dash light adjustment next to the headlamp adjuster to the right of the steering column. However it only changes the brightness of the dials NOT the climate control part. All my buttons on the fan control are lit up so I think a bulb must have gone.

mine had same problem..the aircon buttons dont have lights...cant rem ever having it coz now I so used to adjusting the aircon without looking...just remember them..but i still thinking if I can get the bulb change inside the panel?
