How about we test the theory?!
I have just changed the lightbulb on the landing as it blew this morning (this is true btw) - its awkward. As I held the top part of the bulb holder and twisted the bulb in, the bottom part of the bulb holder starts to twist undone with the bulb, thus stopping the bulb going in. But I can't hold the bottom part of the holder at the same time as putting the bulb in, as there's not enough room for both hands in the shade.
Ok, so how do others do it?

My house is a 5 minute walk from the local pubs and clubs, for everything else theres the word "TAXI". Hmmm wonder if I could stop drinking and save a bundle of cash, if I had done that I would have missed Gemini on in the pub the other week (yes they are the squeeling duo that gained notoriety by getting nil poi at the eurovision a coupleof years ago). I'm still convinced it was a ploy to make people drink more and faster beleiving they may sound slightly in key after 10 pints and 5 cocktails. They didn't.

They are easily recognisable...............they start their "performance"
with the words "alrite der lar we arrrrrrrrr gunna sing a few numberz 4 yer all" and then proceed to be so far out of tune, key, tone, pitch (unfortunately not ear shot). He has a low voice and she has a high voice and constantly tries to compensate for his voice with her sqreeching, they haven't worked out how the gain works on the microphone so feedback is a common occurance and they were a lot worse than Uncle Nobhead on hte kareoke (as in the Peter Kay uncle).
